Bridge of Allan Flood Protection Scheme construction is set to start this month – July 2026. There will be significant disruption and access restrictions on various roads and paths at different dates/times. These are mainly on Allanvale Road, Cornton Road and the ‘chicken run ‘ path between Avenue Park and Allanvale road ( including the footbridge over the River Allan near the firestation).
