From the 30th April – 10th May Cornton Road at the level crossing will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians to allow Network Rail to carry out works relating to removing the old barrier and installing the new one. See the diversion routes here and background information from Network Rail here.
This closure is during the election day May 6th, so think about this when planning your journey to your polling station. Particularly those in Forth Park and Vale Grove when traveling to the Allan Centre.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Kenilworth Road, Bridge of Allan) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 28-2-20.
The ORDER will close:-
Kenilworth Road From its junction with Mine Road to its junction with Coneyhill Road and Abercrombie Drive from 0600 hours until 2359 hours from 23-3-20 until 1-4-20 to facilitate excavation works.
Alternative Route: via Abercrombie Drive, Chalton Road, Mine Road and vice versa
Access for emergency services will be maintained.

This Order will close:
Cornton Road From the junction with Orchard Road to the junction with Pullar Avenue overnight from 2130 hours until 0600 hours from 3-2-20 until 5-2-20 to facilitate BT Openreach works.
Emergency service access will be maintained
Alternative Routes: via Cornton Road, Causewayhead Road, Airthrey Road, Henderson Street, Fountain Road and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Queens Lane, Bridge of Allan) (Temporary Closure and Suspension of Parking) Order 2018 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 7-9-18.
The ORDER will close and SUSPEND the parking:-
Queens Lane For its entire length from 0800 hours until 1800 hours from 1-10-18 until 8-10-18 to facilitate carriageway surfacing works.
Emergency service access will be maintained
Alternative Routes: From Henderson Street – Allanvale Road via Henderson Street, Fountain Road, Keir Street, Union Street, Allanvale Road.
From Allanvale Road – Henderson Street via Allanvale Road, Union Street, Henderson Street.
