Three Stirling Council Consultations have surveys now open through June and July (and one until end of August):
Sustainable Transport System Survey
The council is asking for feedback on its Sustainable Mobility Strategy (further details click here: https://engage.stirling.gov.uk/en-GB/projects/sustainable-mobility ) which sets out how Stirling will transition to a transport system that is environmentally friendly, economically efficient and safe. All types of travel are covered in the wide-ranging strategy, including public transport, walking, cycling, wheeling and driving. Some of the proposed projects include: developing a planned network of urban and rural active travel routes, supporting the electrification of the bus fleet, making a case for a new train station at Bannockburn/Cowie, identifying sites for additional electric vehicle chargers and supporting the uptake of zero emission freight vehicles.
There will also be a survey on travel demand. This will ask people about an important journey they take, such as getting to work or school, visiting shops or spending time with friends and family.

Walk, Cycle, Live Stirling Consultation Survey
Stirling Council are seeking feedback on the newly-opened Walk, Cycle, Live Stirling project to ensure this transformative active travel infrastructure reflects the needs and priorities of communities and will be a crucial part of Stirling’s future transport network. The new infrastructure will also lay the foundations for future connections to Clackmannanshire and the wider Forth Valley region, some of which are currently out for consultation.
The survey is an opportunity for people to share their thoughts on the current infrastructure, potential improvements and any barriers they face when choosing to travel actively.

Local Housing Strategy (2026–2031) Consultation
The Local Housing Strategy is a five-year plan that outlines our housing priorities and the actions we’ll take to meet local needs. It’s essential that this plan reflects the voices of communities across Stirling—especially those who are often under-represented. There is a drop-in session at the Bridge of Allan Library, 26th June 10am to 1pm, where people can speak to the Housing Team directly about their views, priorities and experiences. Also there is the online Early Engagement Survey:
