Thanks you for warning everybody this path will be close for bridge works. The Land Reform Scotland Act (2003) makes it leagl to walk, cycle or ride a horse on a path like this. Describing it as a “footpath” creates conflict between those who are riding legally and those who see it called a “Footpath” on official notices. Please refer to this as a “Path” and reduce conflict between path users. Thanks

Hi Andrew, Good point thanks for sharing. However the top image was supplied to us by Stirling Council and Idverde. I will feed this back to them in the hopes they will be more accurate in the future.
