Dunblane and Bridge of Allan communities want to save their popular heritage path and NCN765 which runs through attractive Kippenrait Glen SSSI; for walkers, runners, buggies, health groups, cyclists and commuters. Urgent repairs and stabilising proposals still need £5000 on top of community grants we are securing to complete the work now. Stirling Council are currently carrying out a consultation to ensure that Stirling’s taxi and private hire licensing framework, best meets local needs in 2019 and into the future.
We have two Surveys for Stirling’s taxi and Private Hire licensing framework – The closing date for these surveys is 31 July 2019.

- The trade’s view on the service and provision within the Stirling Council Area.

Keeping children entertained and fed during school holidays can be a challenge and can have a big impact on family budgets. We know that for some families in particular, being able to use free Holiday Fun Clubs can help to take away some of these pressures. The Council cannot resource these clubs on its own and so we want to work with partner organisations to provide free Holiday Clubs across the Stirling Council area over the summer holidays. We hope that the families who would benefit most from these will be able to attend clubs that are local to them.
If your organisation is interested in applying for funding to run a holiday club and wish to find out more then please come along to one of the open evening sessions that is taking place:
