DENNY-BEAULY POWER LINE  -  REMOVAL OF TEMPORARY ACCESS ROADS

The temporary access roads which now scar the landscape on and around Sheriffmuir and Dumyat were built on a the clear agreement with the Developer, the Scottish Office and Planners  that they would be removed upon completion of the pylons.

Stirling Council are now in receipt of a Planning Application seeking to retain the Tracks for the management of Livestock.

The Community Council have objected to this application on the basis  that the retention of the tracks is an unacceptable blight on our precious landscape and environment running contrary to the initial Planning agreement, Local Planning policy and Ministerial intentions regarding agreed mitigation measures .

DOMINO'S -  EXTERNAL BINS AND STAFF DOOR

The Community Council are pleased to announce that following several months of follow up with the Planners Domino's have finally agreed to remove their large waste bins from outside the premises and relocated them indoors as per the agreed planning approval . They will also finally paint the staff entrance on Fountain Road to match other external decoration.
