Network Rail’s Planning Application Level Crossing Closure – Community Council Update

posted 14 Dec 2016, 02:00 by Communications TEAM   [ updated 16 Dec 2016, 02:13 ]
Network Rail has applied for planning permission to close both the road level crossing next to the entrance to Forth Park and the pedestrian level crossing at the end of Easter Cornton Road.

It is proposed that these will be replaced by a new road bridge which will be positioned in between the current crossings and, in addition, a footbridge will be constructed close to the location of the current road crossing.

Full details of the application, which contains a large number of documents, can be found using the following application number and description on Stirling Council’s Online Planning Portal or by clicking on the link provided below.  The application and associated documents can also be viewed at the planning office.
