Network Rail Consultation on Level Crossings - Public Meetings

Network Rail have now launched their consultation on their proposals for the upgrade/ changes to the Cornton/ Bridge of Allan level crossings. You may have received a letter confirming some upcoming public meetings. If not then the details are below

“Network Rail is improving public safety at its level crossings
Network Rail would like to invite the communities of Bridge of Allan, Causewayhead and Cornton to view its proposals to replace the level crossings on Cornton Road and Easter Cornton Road with a bridge over the railway.
As part of a national level crossing safety improvement programme, the closure of the two level crossings has been identified as a project that will greatly increase railway safety.
Network Rail will be hosting two public drop-in sessions to allow local residents to view the plans for the bridge, raise any questions and provide feedback on its proposals.
Monday 27 June between 3.30pm and 8pm at the Allan Centre, Bridge of Allan
Tuesday 28 June between 3.30pm and 8pm at the Cornton Community Centre
The information provided at each drop-in will be the same.”
