Good News and Bad News from Friends of Bridge of Allan

posted 27 May 2014, 12:29 by Joanne Green   [ updated 27 May 2014, 12:42 ]
The good news is that around £850 was raised at the annual Friends of Bridge of Allan Plant Sale and Coffee Morning, held on 24th May - thanks to all who contributed.

The bad news is that four of the rhododendrons that the Friends have planted in the last twelve months - all good specimens in flower - and one well established azalea went missing from Memorial Park between Friday evening and 08.30 on Sunday morning. The police have been informed. If you have any information that might help please let us know contact@ccbridgeofallan.org.uk. Similar thefts have taken place in Stirling and we'd ask everyone to be vigilant.
