Closure of the "White Bridge" Monday 7th October.

posted 2 Oct 2013, 12:31 by Communications TEAM
Stirling Council are at present carrying out maintenance work on the walls and embankment of the Allanvale Road Flood Alleviation Scheme.  Part of this work involves the removal of the large willow tree that overhangs the "White Bridge" which connects Allanvale Road and the chicken run path.  Allanvale Road will require to be closed on Monday 7th October to allow a crane access to the tree to support and lower the limbs to the ground.  The bridge will also require to be closed, but to try and minimise any inconvenience the closure periods will be restricted to 9.30am to 1.45pm and again from 3.45pm to 5pm.

Stirling Council apologise for any inconvenience that may result from this closure which is required to allow completion of essential maintenance work to the embankment.
