29th August Flooding Presentation.

posted 13 Dec 2012, 03:37 by Communications TEAM
The Community Council hosted a very well attended meeting on the 3rd of December when Stirling Council's report on the flooding event that took place on the 29th August was presented.  The comprehensive report prepared and presented by Ian Young, the Council's flood officer, was very well received.  Gail Donald representing SEPA was present but unfortunately the representative who we expected to attend from Scottish Water failed to make an appearance.

Scottish Water play a major role in the flood prevention strategy for Bridge of Allan and many questions remain unanswered from the meeting due to their non attendance.  In the circumstances the Community Council are collating questions to be put to Scottish Water and residents are asked to assist in this process.  Any residents who have questions that they would like to put to Scottish Water are asked to email them to the Community Council at  The Community Council will then collate these questions with those we already have from the meeting and present them to Scottish Water.  It is our intention that Scottish Water's  response will be presented to the Community Council meeting on the 15th January in addition to being posted on this website.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions.
