Stirling Council have issued December’s News Sheet and as per usual it’s full of useful information. For example there are details of how to apply for Stirling Council’s Small Grants and Stirling Council’s Annual Report for 2017‐18. There is also lots of information on various grants and funding opportunities for local community organisations such as the “Greggs Foundation – Local Communities Project Fund”, “Tesco Bags of Help” and the “Pure Leapfrog & British Airways Carbon Fund”

Do you think it would be possible to press Stirling Council to sweep the Streets in Bridge of Allan. I know this is probably a very difficult thing for them to do- but hell who knows? I can remember in the bad old days when we had 4 or 5 roadsweepers in the viillage plus one of the very first “ride on” street sweeprs which spent all day cleaning our sreets -overnight this machine disappeared. Now in modern times we have NO dedicated sweepers in town. Progress!!
