Stirling Council are starting a consultation on the Bridge of Allan Parking Management Plan. The first consultation event is to be held on 18th November at the Royal Hotel.
At this consultation they’ll be:
- providing background information about the Parking Policy and the Community Parking Management Plan (CPMP) process
- asking people to let us know what, if any, issues they have with parking in the core of Bridge of Allan
- asking people to provide suggestions as to what would help them make the best use of the parking on offer in Bridge of Allan

The parking along by the tennis courts & memorial park continuing along the road is dangerous for cars turning on to Keir St from mayne avenue as the view is often blocked by in considerate parking. It is also extremely difficult to cross the road with a double buggy at the entrance to the park although the curb is lower the yellow lines stop & cars often park across it. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
Not sure what the solution is to this.
